Scrapbook dating ideas
What better way to relive past memories..page by page, memory by memory?
When you haven't seen someone in a long time, it can be nice to let him or her to know that you haven't forgotten them.
Or maybe a good friend's birthday is coming up, and the perfect present only can be time spent making a birthday scrapbook for your friend. You can pick up an idea here and experiment with it.
Remember Scrap Ideas is limited only to your own imagination.
Anniversary flowers are a must but they don't last for very long unless you send these gorgeous roses from Just Pape Roses. Both are equally lovely and the paper roses you can personalize too.
Choose to send a single Golden Rose or a Bouquet of Golden Roses.
That you still cherish the times that you've had together in the past.
And that you are looking forward to the times that are yet to come.
I also like to be able to compare layouts done at different times to see not only how my scrapbooking style has changed, but how my journaling and perception of life have evolved.
Another reason I nearly always include a date on my layouts is I simply LOVE dating products.
Call me crazy, but there’s something about a cool date stamp or clever technique that can send me running to the digi-store faster than just about anything else. In fact, one of the earliest purchases I remember making back when I was old enough to have my own money was an adjustable date stamp and ink pad.
For those new to layout dating – or others interested in having a variety of methods at your disposal – I’ve rounded up examples of several different options for adding this little tidbit of information to your pages. and then be sure to join us Thursday evening (7 p.m. Eastern) for a challenge chat focused specifically on this topic. I will be sharing links to several great finds on Thursday morning in preparation for our evening challenge chat. Send me a link and I just might include it in Thursday’s post … Get the inside scoop, be the first to know about new product releases & get special discounts by subscribing to our new weekly newsletter, the Log Your Memory INSIDER.
We’ll have some goodies for you to play with and hopefully get you inspired to make dating a part of your scrapbooking process.
